We are SO EXCITED to announce this years Cherokee County Fair! Located in the beautiful valley, Andrews, NC!

We will have lots of R I D E S, Fair Foods, Food Trucks, Live Music, and much more! Fun for all ages!

We are excited to announce our third consecutive year for The Cherokee County Fair! This isn’t just an event; it’s a celebration of our county’s rich heritage and a chance for our community to come together. Our fair has been a staple in the lives of many rural families, offering a place to socialize, learn, and enjoy good local food and entertainment. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s fair.

Join the throngs of Fall festival lovers (just like you) who will be on Main Street in Andrews at our Annual Oktoberfest! From Main Street you can see the leaves starting to turn while you shop from local shops and vendors and enjoy some great food, beer, and wine.

Beer, beer, and even wine! Just like the traditional Oktoberfest in Germany, both beer and wine will be available. Open containers are allowed on Main Street in designated areas. Please drink responsibly!

Food? The food will be the best you have ever tasted in your life!

Street Vendors? Of course. Again this year we will have the area’s best arts & crafts vendors located on Main Street.

Activities? You bet! All kinds of things to do!

Kids? Always! There will be a FREE Kids Zone on Chestnut Street that includes all kinds of great activities.

The annual Welcome Home Veterans event recognizes all Veterans who are or have served in our Armed Forces. The event is 2 fold. A parade in Town of Andrews & Veteran event at airport. Event sponsored by Ivie Funeral Homes.

This is a Special Event Promoted by The MAC.
Great FUN in Downtown Murphy. Join us as we celebrate the Arts with streets filled with Artists, Vendors and Dining. First Friday of each month rain or shine. 5pm-8pm. May-December.

Celebrate Appalachian culture at our 48th Fall Festival!

October 5-6, 2024

The Annual Fall Festival was established in 1974 and is held each year on the first full weekend in October, with this year falling on October 5th & 6th, 2024. There are three outdoor areas for vendors, including juried and non-juried areas, that wind along parts of our beautiful 270-acre campus. In 2023, over 200 vendors shared their work with over 13,000 visitors throughout the southern Appalachian region of TN, VA, NC & SC, and GA. Two stages are host to dozens of local and regional musicians and dancers.

Join us for a blacksmithing evening event on Friday, November 1 and an auction on Saturday, November 2.

Join us for a live auction whose proceeds support the Folk School. Bid on handcrafted ironwork and other fine craft items donated by instructors, students, and staff. Your contributions help us uphold the legacy of the Folk School and its cherished programs.

We will have a preview from 12 to 2 p.m., with the auction running from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Keith House Community Room.

This family-friendly event is free and open to all.
