Andrews Chamber of Commerce Spring Fling -The Andrews Spring Fling is a great way to get outside and celebrate the start of Spring in the Mountains! Stroll through town and shop with local vendors. Take some time to visit Downtown Shops, Restaurants, Breweries, and Wineries…there’s so much to do! Spring Fling takes place on Main Street from Fairview Rd. to Cherry St. Date: April 26th 11am-5pm Location: Downtown Andrews
Murphy Spring Festival – Live Music, Local Artist, Fantastic Food, and a Beer and Wine Garden. Say no more! This year’s event will be teeming with interesting and unique vendors, food trucks, kid’s activities! Come on out and enjoy the warm spring air while you listen to live on-stage performances by our amazing artists. Date: May 3rd 12pm-8pm Location: Downtown Murphy.

Artwalk– The Artwalk has returned to Downtown Murphy for the Summer and it’s bigger and better than ever! Local artists, vendors, and live musicians line the sidewalks to show off their craft. Come and stroll the streets and soak in the mountain culture! Happening: 1st Friday of each month, May-December
Second Saturday Shop and Sip- Come Shop & Sip in Downtown Murphy, NC the Second Saturday of the month from 2pm to 5pm!This series of events is presented by the retailers of Downtown Murphy, NC and Main Street Murphy. John C. Campbell Folk l Live Concerts & Dancing– Put your dancing shoes on for weekly live music and dancing at the John C. Campbell Folk School!Â
John C Campbell Folk School May Day Festival-Each year, The Brasstown Morris Dancers and Band lead a parade that begins at Festival Barn and ends at the Maypole located next to Davidson Hall. Once there, dancers dressed in white circle around the maypole to participate in several traditional ribbon dances. Puppets, costumes, and revelry are always part of the Folk School’s May Day celebration. It’s an incredible sight each year. Saturday, April 26, 2025, 11:30am – 2pm.
